CF3 ASTM A743 A744 A351 Grade(UNS): J92500 Alloy Family: Austenitic Stainless Steel Equivalent: 304L stainless steel
CF3 alloy equivalent is 304L, also known as ultra-low carbon stainless steel, is a kind of universal stainless steel material, which is used to make equipment and parts with good comprehensive performance (corrosion resistance and formability).
The corrosion resistance of CF3 alloy is similar to that of CF8. But after welding or stress relief, the corrosion resistance is better. It can also maintain good corrosion resistance without heat treatment.
Because of its good corrosion resistance, it is often used in chemical, coal, petroleum industry, outdoor machinery, building materials heat-resistant parts and parts with difficult heat treatment

304L Stainless steel
304L Executive standard: ASTM A743 / A744 / A351
304L is a variant of 304 stainless steel with low carbon content, which is used for welding. The lower carbon content makes the carbides precipitated in the heat-affected zone near the weld to a minimum, and the precipitation of carbides may cause intergranular corrosion (welding corrosion) of stainless steel in some environments.
Due to work hardening. The deformation in the process of 304L stainless steel mandrel drawing cannot be too large. And the heat loss is large. Therefore, it must be shaped under the teaching of multiple times. If the treatment is not good at the high temperature holding stage, coarse grain will be formed.
