Navigation Table

What is CG6MMn Stainless Steel ?

CG6MMn alloy is a kind of cobalt-based alloy steel with good wear resistance, high-temperature resistance, thermal shock resistance, and scratch resistance.

This alloy steel can work at high temperature above 600 ℃ and certain stress for a long time. It has high temperature strength, good oxidation resistance and corrosion resistance, fracture toughness and other comprehensive properties. The structure of The alloy is single austenite, and CG6MMn has good structure stability and service reliability at different temperatures.

It is also known as a “super alloy”. It is an important material in the fields of aviation, aerospace, petroleum, chemical industry and shipbuilding.

Nitronic 50 stainless steel

Nitronic 50 is a kind of high performance austenitic stainless steel. Its yield strength is about twice that of ordinary stainless steel, and its corrosion resistance is improved. It is widely used in various marine and industrial applications.

Compared with 316L alloy, it contains more chromium and molybdenum, which improves the corrosion resistance. The PREN of 316L alloy is 25, while that of nitronic 50 is 34.
